Recovery and healing process
Immediately after the client may notice
- swelling in the injection areas
- possible redness
- some residual pain
- possibly a little bruise, where a vein or artery may have been nicked after 2 to 7 days
- the swelling will subside
- some residual pain may persist, discolouration may still be present
- on rare occasions unevenness may be evident from 4 to 12 months (average 9)
- Gradual return to previous pre procedure
- Normal duration of fillers lasts 8 – 12 months (average 9 months)
- Duration in lips is 6 months on average because of high vascularisation and mechanical action in that area

- Swelling
- Tenderness
- Itching Rare
- Occlusion
- Necrosis
- Cysts
- Granulomas
- Dissymmetry
