Immediately after the client may notice

  • swelling in the injection areas
  • possible redness
  • some residual pain
  • possibly a little bruise, where a vein or artery may have been nicked after 2 to 7 days
  • the swelling will subside
  • some residual pain may persist, discolouration may still be present
  • on rare occasions unevenness may be evident from 4 to 12 months (average 9)
  • Gradual return to previous pre procedure
  • Normal duration of fillers lasts 8 – 12 months (average 9 months)
  • Duration in lips is 6 months on average because of high vascularisation and mechanical action in that area
  • Common side effects
  • Swelling
  • Tenderness
  • Itching Rare
  • Occlusion
  • Necrosis
  • Cysts
  • Granulomas
  • Dissymmetry
